Woman Injured In Clyde Morris Crash Passes Away

Daytona Beach, FL - A woman involved in a T-bone crash on Clyde Morris Boulevard passes away from her injuries days after the crash. The Daytona Beach Police Department (DBPD) says the woman, who police have identified as 75-year-old Lynnette Sue Daniels, was rushed to Halifax Health Medical Center on Friday (November 13th) as a trauma alert, following the crash near Clyde Morris and LPGA Boulevard. Daytona Beach police were called to the scene around 4 p.m. on Friday with reports of two vehicles that had crashed into one another. Investigators believe Daniels was behind the wheel of a 2017 Jeep SUV when her vehicle was t-boned by a 2007 Ford truck, operated by a currently unidentified driver. According to investigators, Daniels was reportedly leaving the parking lot of the Circle K convenience store at Clyde Morris and LPGA when she tried to cut across the southbound lanes to turn north on Clyde Morris. That’s when her vehicle was hit by the Ford as it traveled south. The driver of the Ford, who is said to be a 58-year-old Daytona Beach woman, complained of soreness and airbag burns following the accident. Charges are not pending at this time, per a release from the DBPD.
