Unofficial Results For Lake Helen & Zone 2 of Daytona Beach

DeLand, FL – The unofficial results of Tuesday’s elections show that about 22 percent of registered voters in Daytona Beach’s District 2 took part. In Daytona Beach, Ken Strickland received 761 votes and Larry McDermott received 691 in the Zone 2 Commission Race. In Lake Helen, Cameron Lane received 58.43 percent of the vote in the mayoral race with Vernon J. Burton receiving 41.57 percent. The City Commission Zone 1 winner is Heather Rutledge with 499 votes to 289 for Kelly Frasca. Per the Volusia County Supervisor of Elections website, the Lake Helen Canvassing Board will meet Thursday at 9 a.m. & Daytona Beach Canvassing Board at 5 p.m., both will certify their Election and conduct manual audits.
