New Smyrna Beach, FL - Two occupants suffer minor injuries after their small plane crashed into a lake in the Ventian Bay community. Units with the New Smyrna Beach Fire Department were called to the area of Airport Road and Luna Bella Lane around 6:30 Tuesday night (November 24th) after receiving reports of a small plane that had crashed into the water. Reports from NSBFD say two occupants suffered minor injuries as a result of the crash, but no one was transported to the hospital.
