Two B-CU Students Shot in Daytona

DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. – Two Bethune-Cookman University students were shot on Saturday in Daytona Beach, the Daytona Beach Police Department have confirmed. The incident is said to have taken place near Joe Harris Park. The two victims are identified as a 21 year-old male and a 23 year-old female in the DBPD’s statement. Both are said to have been taken to Halifax Health Medical Center for treatment. Their conditions are both apparently stable as of Sunday afternoon. As of Monday morning the shooting suspect is still at-large. Shell casings were found at the scene, as well as other evidence which the DBPD didn’t disclose.  The relation between the two victims and the suspect is not known, but the report states that they were in contact somewhere else prior to the shooting.
