Sign Up Now For 2020 International Coastal Cleanup

Daytona Beach, FL – The semi-annual Ocean Conservancy International Coastal & Halifax/Indian River Cleanup is scheduled for September 18-20 and volunteer signup is already underway.  You don’t have to register to take part but if you do, your information will be included in the total amount of trash picked up. You can register at volusia.org. and you can see a list of suggested locations to choose from. This is the 35th year for the Cleanup and like most other things in 2020, social distance guidelines will be followed.  The event will be held independently as there will be no site captains or check-ins. Your efforts can be recorded directly into the Ocean Conservancy’s Clean Swell app.  The first 1500 registered volunteers will receive a commemorative cleanup giveaway. All sites will have a maximum capacity and will be cut off when reached.
