Organizers Cancel 2020 Volusia County Fair

DeLand, FL - According to a release from the Volusia County Fair Association, organizers have decided to cancel the upcoming 2020 Volusia County Fair. "This has been one of the most difficult decisions the Board has had to make," said the organization in their release. They went on to say that the decision to cancel amidst the COVID-19 pandemic was not taken lightly. But, while they do not plan on holding the fair, the Volusia County Fair Association said their board intends to still hold youth livestock shows and auctions in a modified manner. Details on that, however, are not available at the moment. The dates for the 2021 Volusia County fair are November 4th through the 14th.
