New Palm Coast Mayor To Be Sworn In Tuesday

Palm Coast, FL -  During next Tuesday’s Palm Coast City Council meeting, newly-elected mayor, David Alfin, will be sworn into office. The August 3 meeting will begin with the certification of the election results for the July 27 special election for the mayoral seat of the Palm Coast City Council, followed by Alfin’s swearing in ceremony. Also during the meeting, Council will hear a presentation from the Planning Division on an ordinance to approve the amendment of the City of Palm Coast Comprehensive Plan, creating Chapter 10 – Property Rights Element. It povides compliance with Florida House Bill 59, which went into effect on July 1, 2021. Business meetings and workshops are open to the public.
