For The Second Time This Week, Human Remains Found In Volusia County

Deltona, FL –  For the second time this week, the Volusia Sheriff’s Office is reporting that human remains have been found, this time in Deltona in a wooded area near Veterans Memorial Park. Human Remains Found Along I-4 Deputies were alerted to the remains at the park by two people who went down a path in the park into the woods and discovered the remains.  The area appeared to be a makeshift campsite surrounded by blankets, bags, and other items consistent with that of a transient person. There are no immediate indications of foul play but the investigation continues as they wait for positive identification of the deceased.
