Flagler County Master Gardeners Plant Sale & Educational Event Friday

Bunnell, FL – If you’d like to learn more about Florida-friendly landscaping (FFL) and then be able to purchase the plants to do it, the UF/IFAS Extension Flagler County Master Gardeners are holding a plant sale and educational event this Friday at their office in Bunnell. The office is located at 150 Sawgrass Road in Bunnell from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m. Anyone can attend the event to purchase plants but if you want to take part in the FLL presentations, you will need to pre-register by sending an email to Horticultural Agent, Mimi Vreeland, time slots at 10:00 am, 11:00 am, 12:00 pm, or 1:00 pm. “The plant sale is an important fundraising event for the Master Gardeners who use the proceeds for demonstration garden materials and to support educational and outreach programs,” said Melanie Thomas, County Extension Director. Adding presentations on the FFL principles will teach attendees how to use irrigation and low maintenance plants to save money and time while having a beautiful home landscape."
