Flagler County, FL – Florida Highway Patrol is investigating after a 15-year-old German girl was struck by a car in Flagler County. State Troopers say she was walking west on A1A towards Gamble Rogers Memorial State Park Monday night (March 21). As she tried to cross the road, not in a crosswalk, a car headed south on A1A struck her. The driver, a 74-year-old Flagler Beach man, pulled the car over to the side after hitting the teen. Investigators say that stretch of A1A is not well-illuminated. The girl was taken to AdventHealth in Palm Coast in critical condition. Her status as of Tuesday morning (March 22) is not known. It’s unknown if charges are pending at this time.
