Deputies Searching For Man Who Beat & Doused Girlfriend With Gasoline

Deltona, FL - The Volusia Sheriff’s Office (VSO) is asking the public to be on the lookout for a 49-year-old man accused of battering his girlfriend before dousing her with gasoline. Deputies say they now have an active arrest warrant for Scott Tharp, the suspect wanted in this violent incident, which took place on Tuesday (April  6th). Investigators have also noted that Tharp already has an active arrest warrant out of Seminole County for violation of probation for an assault offense.
