Deltona Woman Killed In Rollover Crash

Deltona, FL – Volusia County deputies confirm a Deltona woman died after she lost control of her vehicle early Saturday morning. The Volusia Sheriff’s Office says the crash happened sometime around 3:00 a.m. near the intersection of Howland and Amboy Streets. There they determined that the driver of a 2012 Nissan Murano, Kathy Duran, left the road and hit two unoccupied vehicles parked in a driveway. The SUV rolled over before coming to rest upside down in the front yard of a Howland Boulevard home. Deputies also found out that Duran was not wearing her seatbelt at the time of the crash. She was pronounced deceased at the scene. The crash remains under investigation as of Monday (Jan. 31)
