Deltona Man Charged With Child Porn Possession, Failure To Register

Deltona, FL - A 46-year-old Deltona man is back in custody in Volusia County after detectives discovered 16 videos containing child pornography. Investigators with the Volusia Sheriff’s Office (VSO) say Phillip Manno was arrested in Pinellas County back in August before his extradition back to Volusia this week. According to detectives, Manno is back in Volusia to face his local charges, which include 16 counts of possession of child porn and one count of failure to properly register as a sex offender. Detectives in VSO’s Child Exploitation Unit began investigating Manno back in July and found out that he was sharing videos and photos depicting the sexual abuse of female children estimated to be as young as 3 years old and as old as 9 years old. After securing a search warrant for his Loblolly Street home, detectives seized Manno’s electronic devices, which led to the discovery of the 16 videos. He remains in custody with bond set at $320,000. VSO’s investigation also discovered that the images in Manno’s possession were all downloaded.
