DeLand PD Investigating Fatal Shooting

DeLand, FL – DeLand Police Department (DPD) detectives are investigating the fatal shooting of 39-year-old Lennox White.  Police responded to a shooting in the 1000 block of Springdale Court around 7:30 p.m. yesterday. They arrived to find White suffering from a gunshot wound. He died at the scene. Detectives have identified the shooter and been in contact with them. At this time, no arrest has been made as detectives are working to determine the circumstances of the shooting.  The investigation continues with more information being released as it becomes available.
