Daytona Beach, FL - An early morning (August 18) shooting at Travelers Inn is under investigation by the Daytona Beach Police Department. Public Information Officer Messod Bendayan said the 911 call came in at 3:38 a.m. The call appears to have come from a room at the motel located at 850 South Ridgewood Avenue. Paramedics found a woman there who was critically injured. She remains in the hospital. This is an active investigation and DBPD is not releasing any other information at this time.
