Daytona Beach, FL - Starting today, appointments aren’t needed to receive a COVID-19 vaccine from a Publix Pharmacy. The Lakeland-based company additionally announced that they are administering both the Moderna and Johnson & Johnson vaccines, subject to availability. And while appointments are not necessary, Publix is offering designated booking opportunities throughout each week for each specific vaccine. If you prefer to make an appointment anyway, you can still do so through Publix’s COVID-19 vaccine webpage. Individuals interested in receiving a vaccine will have to complete an immunization consent form, which you can print and fill out before your appointment. Also don’t forget to bring your photo ID or your CDC vaccination record card.
