Deltona, FL - Whether it’s sunny or pouring, the Friends of the Deltona Library plan to sell plants this weekend to benefit a local food pantry. The sale begins at 9 a.m. on Saturday (September 12th) and is planned to run until noon. Those interested in attending the sale can find the home off of West Chapel Drive, a mile-and-a-half south of the Deltona Regional Library. The organizers ask that masks be worn. Visitors are also instructed to look for a brick house with blue doors and shutters. The plants, which were raised by library volunteers, will be sold for $3, $5, and $10 a piece, with payment made with cash or check. 100% of the sales will benefit the Deltona Presbyterian Church Food Pantry. Non-perishable food donations are welcome. If you would like more information on the event, contact Judi at (407) 234-3086.
