Port Orange, FL - Police are investigating an incident where a woman was shot and injured off of US-1 and Herbert Street in Port Orange. Police say the woman was being following by a male suspect in a Jeep Thursday morning (October 1st) before the two crashed. Following the crash, the male suspect fired a shot at the woman, who sustained non-life threatening injuries during the incident. The suspect—who remains unidentified—is in custody.
