One Man Dead After Officer-Involved Shooting In Daytona Beach

Daytona Beach, FL – Details are scarce at this time, but what’s known is a man has died following an officer-involved shooting in Daytona Beach. According to an email from Daytona Beach Police Department’s Public Information Officer Messod Bendayan, the shooting took place near the intersection of Beville Road and Ridgewood Avenue/US-1 just north of the South Daytona city limits. No officers were injured in the shooting. The road is blocked off as officers continue to work the scene.  This story is still developing. Check back later for updates.
