COVID Testing In NSB On Christmas Eve

New Smyrna Beach, FL –  If you want to get tested for COVID before Christmas Day, you can do so at the New Smyrna Beach City Gym, located at 1000 Live Oak St. Testing will be done through 6 p.m. today, from 8 a.m. until 6 p.m. on Dec. 23, and from 8 a.m. until 2 p.m. on Christmas Eve. Next week, they’ll be open from 8 a.m. until 6 p.m., Monday through Thursday, and close at 2 p.m. on New Year’s Eve. Since the site reopened on Oct. 7, 2021, 6,438 tests have been processed. On  Monday of this week, 1,016 tests were administered during the 10-hour period. The site offers both PCR and antigen tests with a 24 to 48-hour turnaround for PCR tests and a 1-hour turnaround for antigen tests. The samples are processed in a CLIA-certified laboratory using FDA EUA-authorized test kits. Individuals in need of a test are asked to bring an insurance card if they have one. If they do not have insurance, they will not be turned away.
