Jewish Federation of Volusia & Flagler Counties Asking For Donations

Ormond Beach, FL – For more than 40 years, the Jewish Federation of Volusia & Flagler Counties has helped out anyone in need no matter their religion.   President of the organization, Marvin Miller, said they will be helping local families next Wednesday and there’s still time to pre-register for the event. To do so, call 386-672-0294 or email admin@jewishfederationdaytona.org. Miller said once you’re registered, you will need I.D. in order to pick up food and gifts on December 22, 2021. As for those who can help, Miller said the quickest way to do so is online at mightycause.org. You can also mail or bring a check to 470 Andalusia Ave., Ormond Beach, FL 32174. They are also accepting gifts for children. “They come in from three to teenagers. Fortunately, we’ve got some gift cards for the teenagers. They’re a little bit old for some of the gifts. But bring an unwrapped gift, it’s fine.” Miller said he appreciates the community stepping up over Thanksgiving and that his organization has “the best volunteers.”
