Daytona Beach, FL - New analysis shows condo sales remained steady throughout the month of July across the Daytona Beach area. That analysis—conducted by Wyse Home Team Realty—found that 199 condo units sold in the area with a median sales price of $279,900. While that’s just two more sales than the previous month and seven more sales than July 2020, the median sales price also climbed, beating out June’s $255,000 and July 2020’s $243,750. Data from the Daytona Beach Multiple Listing Service additionally shows that the sales volume was up by roughly $7 million over last year, and almost $3.4 million over June. "Demand for condos in the Daytona Beach area has been both strong and consistent for more than a year now," said Ron Wysocarski, broker & CEO of Wyse Home Team Realty. At the same time, inventory levels continued to creep up after rising to 471 in July, which is up over the 450 units that were active in June. However, inventory is still 49 percent lower than the 931 units that were available in July 2020. "The inventory is trending in an upward direction and sales are still continuing," said Ron to News Daytona Beach. "There seems to be enough for everybody right now." Year to date, sales are up by 57 percent and the median sales price rose 18 percent over the first seven months of 2020. Highlights from this month of sales includes the sales of a $1.1 million unit and a $920,000 unit in Daytona Beach Shores; the $875,000 sales of a unit in Ormond Beach; and the $870,000 sale of a unit in Ponce Inlet.
