Country music superstar Miranda Lambert will be performing at Daytona International Speedway in the Daytona 500 pre-race concert next month, the track announced on Sunday. Lambert will play a set in the track’s infield before the green flag on the 68th running of the Great American Race. “To have this level of talent with an artist such as Miranda Lambert performing our pre-race concert adds an incredible amount of energy for the 68th running of the Daytona 500,” said DIS President Frank Kelleher. “Her powerhouse vocals and passion for music are the perfect mix to represent the prestige of this event. Get ready for the thunder of country music before we wave the green flag and engines roar to kick off the 2026 season!” Since she debuted in 2005, Lambert has released nine solo albums and five collaborative albums. She’s gone on to earn three wins at the Grammy Awards, fourteen at the Country Music Association Awards, and a staggering 38 wins Academy of Country Music Awards. On the country music charts, Lambert has notched four number one hits: “The House That Built Me”, “Heart Like Mine”, “Over You”, and “Somethin’ Bad”. She’s also featured on two other number ones: “We Were Us” with Keith Urban, “Forever Country” with Artists of Then, Now & Forever. In 2024 Lambert was honored with the People’s Choice Country Awards’ County Icon Award. The Texas native will perform on Sunday, February 15th at Daytona International Speedway. Not long after her set concludes, the NASCAR Cup Series will officially kick off the 2026 season when they take the green flag in the 68th running of the Daytona 500.
