One of the several large shopping areas on International Speedway Boulevard in Daytona Beach is changing hands. The International Speedway Square retail complex has been sold to DLC Management Corp, a New York-based real estate firm. The news of the sale was first reported by the Daytona Beach News-Journal. As they reported, the value of the retail center was most recently listed at $30.4 million according to Volusia County property records. Selling the area is Kite Realty, an investment trust based out of Indiana. Locals would most easily recognize International Speedway Square for some of the large chain retail stores and other businesses located within its boundaries: Best Western, Dick’s Sporting Goods, Michaels, Boot Barn, Five Below, Staples, Shoe Carnival, and Total Wine Spirits Beer & More. In addition to these, the center is also home to AB Nail Spa, America’s Best Contacts & Eyeglasses, BJ’s Restaurant & Brewhouse, Haverty’s Furniture, Longhorn Steakhouse, Krystal, Men’s Wearhouse, Oreck Vacuums, and Republic Finance. It also used to contain Edible Arrangements, Stein Mart, and Bed Bath & Beyond among others. Where retail stores can be considered an unstable animal in 2025, International Speedway Square has been able to add multiple major tenants this year alone. Five Below and Haverty’s Furniture opened their doors in Spring, and a former Chili’s Grill & Bar is being converted into a future Banfield Pet Hospital.
