The Museum of Arts and Sciences (MOAS) in Daytona Beach is preparing to host the 44th Short Film Concert later this month, according to an announcement from Asbury Shorts. The event will take place on Friday, May 16th. Some of the content which will be shown in the event will include works which have received national acclaim both from recent times and years past. Screenings begin in MOAS’s Root Auditorium at 7:00 pm. The 2025 running of the Short Film Concert will be the seventh year in which Asbury Shorts has presented films at the Museum of Arts and Sciences. Other venues they’ve used include the Summer Stage in New York City’s Central Park, the Vero Beach Museum of Art in Florida, the Director’s Guild Theater in Manhattan, and the Royal Festival Hall in London. Admission will cost $20 for members and $25 for non-members. Doors are slated to open 6:00 pm for a cash bar, and 6:30 pm for auditorium seating.
