2026 Rolex 24 Set for January 24th-25th

The dates for the 2026 running of the Rolex 24 at Daytona International Speedway have been set. The 64th annual running of the endurance race and motorsports festival will be Saturday January 24th through Sunday January 25th, Daytona International Speedway personnel have confirmed. The weekend festivities building up to the Rolex 24, also known as the 24 Hours of Daytona, will begin with the Roar Before the Rolex 24 on January 16th through 18th. This practice and testing session gives fans the first chance to see the race’s highly-refined sports cars on-track in preparation for the year’s first major IMSA endurance race. Racing will kick off on Thursday, January 22nd as support series take the track to provide undercard entertainment in the days leading up to the Rolex 24. Multiple series and classes of cars will race each day on the 3.56-mile road course configuration of Daytona International Speedway. “The Rolex 24 at Daytona is more than an endurance race—it’s a bucket-list experience for fans from around the world,” said DIS President Frank Kelleher. “This event is a celebration of speed, precision, and perseverance, featuring the world’s best drivers and teams battling around the clock on the most iconic road course in motorsports. From thrilling on-track action to the vibrant atmosphere of the infield, fans can immerse themselves in an unforgettable weekend of racing and entertainment.” The 24 Hours of Daytona is the first event of the year in the Triple Crown of endurance racing, preceding the 12 Hours of Sebring and 24 Hours of Le Mans. Motorsports fans in Florida have a unique opportunity to see two of these three races, with Sebring International Raceway located just a few hours south of Daytona Beach. In the 2026 running of the Rolex 24, defending overall victors Porsche Penske Motorsport will look to defend their 2024 and 2025 victories with the first three-peat since Wayne Taylor Racing accomplished it in 2019-21.
