FCSO: Missing Boater Found Dead At Bing’s Landing

Palm Coast, FL - Deputies in Flagler County locate a deceased 18-year-old male a day after he went missing at Bing’s Landing. The Flagler County Sheriff’s Office (FCSO) first sent out a community alert Wednesday evening (February 24th) after the male—who currently remains unidentified—fell from his vessel and went missing in the water that same afternoon. Eventually, the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission (FWC) was called in to help with the search. Rescue workers carried on throughout the day, but to no avail. The search for the missing boater picked up again the following morning after sunrise. The boater was eventually found by search and rescue teams, but he was pronounced dead at the scene.
