DeLand, FL - Santa Claus in DeLand will be there for Friday’s Christmas Tree Lighting at City Hall followed by several trips around the city over the next two weeks. The tree lighting begins at 5:30 p.m. followed by a trip to Downtown DeLand to help light a wreath at Pioneer Park as a part of MainStreet DeLand Association’s "Wreaths on Woodland" display. Santa Claus will make his trips around town on the city’s trusty steed ("The Sutherland" antique fire truck). You’ll likely see a City Commissioner or two traveling with him. Each route will begin at 6 p.m. and end around 7:30. You can find a map with all the routes by clicking here.
