Meals Will Be Available For Volusia County Children During Thanksgiving Week

DeLand, FL – Meals will be available for all Volusia County children during the week of Thanksgiving. School Way Cafe will serve five days’ worth of meals. There are ten days left to register for the meals at Holiday Meal Pickup Reservation with the deadline to register on November 13. If you don’t have internet access, you can call the district at 386-734-7190 ext 50732 which will get you to the School Way Café office. All children 18 and younger are eligible and do not need to be enrolled in school. Parents must show their ID when picking up meals, as well as a form of ID for each child requesting meals. Current student ID cards or birth certificates are acceptable. The meals will be available for pickup on Thursday, November 19 between the hours of 5:30 and 6:30 p.m.  The following schools are pickup sites: Campbell Middle Chisholm Elementary Citrus Grove Elementary Coronado Beach Elementary Cypress Creek Elementary DeBary Elementary DeLand Middle Discovery Elementary Galaxy Middle Heritage Middle David C.
