2 Wounded in Holly Hill Stabbing

Two victims were wounded in a Holly Hill stabbing on Monday, according to the Holly Hill Police Department. The incident reportedly took place at around 12:54 p.m., stemming from a potential dispute over infidelity per the HHPD’s statement. Police officers initially responded to 940 15th Street Apt. 201, where they found an adult female victim. She was said to be ‘hysterically crying and covered in blood’ when responders arrived. Aid was given to the woman by police until medical personnel could reach the scene. Once they arrived, she was transported to a local hospital. The HHPD says the woman is in ‘fair condition’. Another victim, a man, was said to have been found away from the scene of the stabbing. He reportedly was transported by a private vehicle to Halifax Health Medical Center with his own stab wounds. Upon arrival he was admitted as a trauma alert. The HHPD says the male victim is in ‘critical condition’ as of Tuesday. So far, little other information has been released by the Holly Hill Police Department. An investigation is active and ongoing with assistance from the Volusia Sheriff’s Office Crime Scene Investigation Unit and the Daytona Beach Police Department. ‘Multiple scenes’ are being investigated in Holly Hill and Daytona Beach.
