Lady Antebellum are feeling “re-inspired” after inking a new record deal with Big Machine Label Group. “We just felt some really new, excited energy from Big Machine. They had heard some of the songs we’d been writing and [we] just really felt like they had a fresh energy that would be fun,” band member Charles Kelley said in a radio interview on Wednesday. “They’ve got some new ideas of where they think they can take this thing.” Kelley adds that the group hopes to “be a little bit more honest with our music and our lyrics” on their next release. Lady A released seven studio albums on Capitol Records before parting ways with the label this year. They announced their new deal with Big Machine this week.
