The holidays are always hectic, so here are four tips on how to stay organized this month . . .
1. Use a calendar. Between work and school parties, gift exchanges, and other meet-ups with friends and family, there’s a lot to keep track of until New Year’s.
2. Get used to saying no. It’s just not possible to make every school, work, friend, and family event this month. So decide what’s most important to you and your family and don’t take on more than you can handle.

3. Buy gifts early. One of the most chaotic things about the holidays is the mad-dash to the mall in the days right before Christmas to buy gifts for all the people you forgot about. Make a list and buy things NOW to avoid the last-minute rush.
4. Schedule your visit with Santa. If you have kids, you know that standing in line for Santa pictures can be rough. But some places are beginning to take online reservations for Santa pictures now, which can make the process smoother.
