Brenda’s Buzz Friday April 14th: Watch! The Tribute to Carrie Fisher at the “Star Wars Celebration” Event / Jimmy Kimmel, Kids, and Easter

“Star Wars Celebration” is happening in Orlando, Florida right now. If you’ve had sex, then you probably don’t know what that means. It’s not hard to understand. It’s a weekend-long celebration . . . of “Star Wars”.

There was a panel discussion yesterday to kick things off, with George Lucas, Harrison Ford, Mark Hamill, Peter “Chewbacca” Mayhew, Billy Dee Frickin’ Williams, and Anthony “C3PO” Daniels.

It was moderated by Warwick Davis, who played an Ewok in “Return of the Jedi”. They played an AMAZING video tribute to CARRIE FISHER that really makes you wish you appreciated her more while she was alive.

And George said, quote, “She was very strong, very smart, very funny, very bold, very tough . . . There are not very many people like her. They are one in a billion. For this particular part, it was absolutely perfect.”

“She played a part that was very smart, and she was having to hold her own against two big lugs, goofballs that were screwing everything up.”

Harrison was actually a surprise guest at the show, and when he came out Warwick said, quote, “I can’t believe we managed to keep it a secret, considering you landed your plane on I-4.”

And Harrison said, quote, “Yeah, but it was a good landing.”

That wasn’t the only reference to Harrison’s recent runway miss. George was asked why he chose Harrison to play Han Solo, and he said, quote, “He got the part because in the end I asked him . . . Do you know how to fly?”

And Harrison said, quote, “I said fly? Yeah. Land? No.”
