93.1 Coast Country’s Nashville Notes : LISTEN TO NEW CARRIE!!!!!!

Good morning! Just a couple of updates to share with you…😉 smarturl.it/o9yuge

CARRIE UNDERWOOD wrote an update about her health and life on her website.  She says her wrist is at about 90%.  Her face has been “healing pretty nicely” and she feels more like herself than she has in a while.  The recent downtime has allowed her to spend more time with her family, which is great.

She’s excited about her new song, “Cry Pretty”, and about her performance on Sunday’s ACMs.  And to her fans, she says quote, “Thank you all so much for your love and support this year and always.  I feel it and I appreciate it.”

Jason Aldean Says It’s Too Easy to Get Guns, and He Understands How the Kids in Florida Are Feeling

We all know JASON ALDEAN is a proud Buck Commander who loves hunting.  But he’s also the guy who was on stage during the Route 91 massacre . . . and there’s no doubt that it changed his life.

Check out what he said in an interview with the Associated Press.  Quote, “Unless anybody has witnessed anything like that or been a part of it, it’s really hard for people to really understand where you’re coming from on that stuff.

“It’s like the kids from the school in Florida, that shooting.  I get it, man.  I understand how they’re feeling.”

He doesn’t support a ban on guns, but he doesbelieve things need to change.  Quote, “It’s too easy to get guns, first and foremost.  When you can walk in somewhere and get one in five minutes, do a background check that takes five minutes, how in-depth is that background check?

What he wants is for politicians to “come to an agreement and make a smart decision.”

ERIC CHURCH, FLORIDA GEORGIA LINE, and THOMAS RHETT are headlining this year’s Pepsi Gulf Coast Jam.  It’s August 31st to September 2nd, in Panama City Beach, Florida.  Ticket info is at GulfCoastJam.com

CASSADEE POPE kept the production costs low on her Take You Home video.  It’s mostly her singing in the backseat of a car, and in a room with plenty of mood lighting.
